Worksheet Sections
The information in the valuation request worksheets is grouped into the following sections:
Valuation Request Worksheet (Standard)
The Claim Information section of the worksheet identifies the Claim-Suffix ID. The Claim Information must be entered and saved before any other information can be entered into the worksheet. After the information in this section has been saved, it cannot be changed. The Claim Information is entered in Step 1 when creating a new valuation request.
The Admin Information section of the Valuation Request Worksheet provides information about the claim, the parties involved and their contact information, and the vehicle inspection. The Admin Information is entered in Step 2 when creating a new valuation request.
The Vehicle ID section of the Valuation Request Worksheet provides a detailed description of the vehicle. If you have the Vehicle Identification Number, much of the information can be entered automatically. The Vehicle ID is entered in Step 2 when creating a new valuation request.
Vehicle Inspection Report Information
The Vehicle Inspection Report Information section of the Valuation Request Worksheet provides additional inspection fields that may be required by your company process. Use this section if your company has made prior arrangements with Mitchell to record and process this information as part of the Valuation Worksheet Request. This section is visible to all users.
Note: Fields in this section do not appear in the print (PDF) or online version of the valuation and do not affect the final value.
The Vehicle Equipment section of the Valuation Request Worksheet provides a detailed description of the standard and optional equipment on the vehicle. The Vehicle Equipment is entered in Step 3 when creating a new valuation request.
The Vehicle Adjustments section of the Valuation Request Worksheet provides information that is used to make adjustments to the valuation based on the condition of the vehicle, aftermarket parts, refurbished part, and prior damage. The Vehicle Adjustments are entered in Step 3 when creating a new valuation request.
Use the Settlement Adjustments section of the Valuation Request Worksheet to enter user-defined settlement adjustments such as Dealer Prep Fee, Title Fee, etc. Settlement Adjustments are entered in Step 3 when creating a new valuation request.
The Report Options section of the Valuation Request Worksheet is used to select the reports you want included in the valuation, and also states the maximum search radius, age of the data to be used, Tax Rate, and deductible. The Report Options are entered in Step 3 when creating a new valuation request.
The Valuation Notes section of the Valuation Request Worksheet is used to enter comments that will accompany the request. The Valuation Notes are entered in Step 3 when creating a new valuation request.
Valuation Request Worksheet (Specialty)
The Claim Information section of the worksheet identifies the Claim-Suffix ID and the type of insurance coverage. The Claim Information must be entered and saved before any other information can be entered into the worksheet. After the information in this section has been saved, it cannot be changed. This information is entered in Step 1 when creating a new valuation request.
The Admin Information section of the specialty valuation request worksheet provides information about the claim, the parties involved and their contact information, and the vehicle inspection. This information is entered in Step 2 when creating a new valuation request.
The Vehicle Data section of the Valuation Request Worksheet provides a detailed description of the vehicle. You must enter the required vehicle data marked by an * (asterisk) before submitting a specialty valuation. This information is entered in Step 2 when creating a new valuation request.
The Options and Equipment section of the request worksheet provides a detailed description of the exterior, interior, mechanical, and safety equipment on the vehicle. When displayed in the read-only request worksheet, all vehicle options for the loss vehicle appear in their assigned categories (e.g., Exterior, Interior, Mechanical, and Safety). Selected equipment is clearly marked on the read-only report. This information is entered in Step 2 when creating a new valuation request.
After Market Parts, Refurbishments, Prior Damage
The After Market Parts, Refurbishments, Prior Damage sections of the valuation request worksheet provides information that is used to make adjustments to the valuation given the after market, refurbished parts, and prior damage associated with the vehicle. This information is entered in Step 2 when creating a new valuation request.
The Vehicle Condition section of the valuation request worksheet provides information that is used to make adjustments to the valuation based on the condition of the vehicle. This information is entered in Step 2 when creating a new valuation request.
The Attachments section of the Valuation Request Worksheet is used to select and manage the attachments that will accompany the request. Attachments are selected in Step 2 when creating a new valuation request.
The Valuation Notes section of the Valuation Request Worksheet is used to enter comments that will accompany the request. This information is entered in Step 2 when creating a new valuation request.
