WorkCenter Overview

The WorkCenter features three main areas, the main window, workspace, and claim navigator.

Main Window

The Main window of WorkCenter provides a standard set of controls and navigation tools, which are available according to the products included in your WorkCenter and your permissions-based level of access.

The Main window components are in the top two bars inside your browser window: the System bar and the Menu bar.

Workspace

The Workspace varies according to the choices you make using the Main window and Claim Navigator components. You can find specific information on the various lists, forms, and documents that appear in the Workspace throughout this Help system.

Claim Navigator

The Claim Navigator opens on the left side of the Workspace while you are working on a Claim and shows the list of available items for the Claim and the artifacts that are part of the claim suffix.

Using the Claim Navigator you can view all reports, worksheets, photos, and Journal messages associated with the Claim.

NOTE: Photos can be found in the Claim Navigator under Manage Attachments; Documents> All Items; and, Suffix ID>Documents>All Items.

When the assignment is a property type other than motor vehicle, Property information appears in the Claim Navigator as well.

Each area has its own set of controls and navigation tools, which are available according to the products included in your WorkCenter and your permissions-based level of access.

The following icons are used in WorkCenter to provide information on certain operations.

Note

Provides additional information about the current page.

Caution

Indicates a condition that you should be aware of.

Critical

Indicates that a serious problem has occurred.

Error

Indicates that an error has been made, such as incorrectly formatted information during data entry.

Busy

Indicates that a process or report is currently in progress, and that you should wait until it is complete.

How to

  1. Enter your Organization ID.

  2. Enter your Username.

  3. Enter your Password.

    • If you want the system to remember your login credentials, select the Remember Me box.

  4. Click Login to open the workspace.

  1. Click the Forgot Username or Password links.
  2. Follow the on-screen instructions to reset your username or password.

Note: You can use your browser's Back Button to return to the Login page. .
