Admin Opportunity Management

Use the Admin page to manage opportunities. The Admin page is the main workspace for an opportunity. In this workspace, you can create a new opportunity, cancel an appointment for the opportunity, and review and update administrative information about the vehicle, insurance, and people related to the opportunity.

Use the Admin tab to create a new opportunity and to review and update administrative information about the vehicle, insurance, and people related to an opportunity or repair order. Some of the information on this tab is automatically added when you receive or merge an assignment.

The AdminAdmin tab page has Closedseven five sections. Once an opportunity is created, some of these sections include a read-only summary where you can view all available information for that section (to learn how to make this information editable, see "Edit administrative information" later in this topic). Missing information appears dimmed.

Section Description

Appointment

Use the Appointment section to review information about the appointment.

Contacts

Use the Contacts sectionto view and enter administrative information about the people related to the opportunity or repair order (owner, insured, claimant).

Primary Contact Default

When an opportunity is added in RepairCenter, the default Primary Contact is the owner. Most opportunities are created in an estimating system. When an estimate is written, the default Primary Contact is as follows:

  • If the Owner exists, the Owner is the Primary Contact regardless if the Insured and Claimant are present.
  • If Claimant and Insured exists, (but no Owner) the Claimant is the Primary Contact

Vehicle

Use the Vehicle section to view and enter a vehicle's identification, description, damage, and equipment.

Payer

Use the Payer section to view and specify who is paying for a repair.

Insurance

Use the Insurance section to view and enter information about the claim, insurance company, and people working on the claim (adjuster, agent).

Rental

Use the Rental section to view and enter information about the rental car.

Marketing

Use the Marketing sectionto view and enter information about what brought the opportunity to your business.

Manage

Use the Manage sectionof created opportunities or repair orders (ROs) to view and enter information about the primary contact's notification preferences, including advanced notification preferences.

Be sure to use the scroll bar to access all of the sections (or Closedclick a section name at the top of the window).

Note: The Admin tab is available with all RepairCenter licenses except QuickStart.
