Marketing

Use the Marketing section to view and enter information about what brought the opportunity to your business. If your shop is set up for force marketing, the information in this section is automatically added when you receive or merge an assignment.

Note: To analyze marketing information across all jobs, use the Marketing tab on the Analytics menu, under Sales.

The Marketing section is available with the Opportunity Management module in the Essentials, Professional, and Premier packages.

Element Description

Job Type

The type of jobopportunity (such as a warranty repair or a total loss).

Marketing Type

The type of marketing that brought the jobopportunity to your MSOshop, such as paid advertising.

Marketing Source

The source of the marketing type that brought the jobopportunity to your MSOshop. Example If the marketing type is paid advertising, the marketing source may be a radio ad.

Marketing Other

Other sources of referrals to your MSOshop, such as a repeat customer or an employee's relative.

Dealership

The dealership that authorized the repair.
