Breakeven Analysis

Use the Breakeven Analysis page to drive decisions to mark a valuation suffix as a total loss or as repairable. Use the information in the General Information, Repairable, and Total Loss sections of the page to enter or view values that might affect the choice to repair or total a vehicle. In addition to values you can enter on this page, you can review and click underlined values to open a worksheet associated with that value for details or advanced calculations. Buttons at the top of the page allow you to mark a valuation as a total loss or as repairable. Use the Breakeven Analysis button at the top of the Claim Suffix page to open the Breakeven Analysis. After you save your analysis, it appears in the left navigation pane under the available Documents for your valuation.

ClosedTo create the Breakeven Analysis

  1. On the Claim Suffix page, click Breakeven Analysis.
  2. On the Breakeven Analysis page, review and/or enter the necessary General, Repairable, Total Loss information, and Comments as apply to the Claim Suffix.
  3. Review the Analysis Results and do one of the following:

  • Save Analysis
  • Create Total Loss
  • Mark as Total Loss
  • Mark as Repairable
