GPS Device Overview
To improve productivity, WorkCenter Dispatch has integrated with Garmin to eliminate the need for Field Appraisers to manually enter an address in their GPS device for each assignment. Once Field Appraisers with Garmin GPS devices download and install the Garmin communicator plugin they can send their current-day assignments from their dispatch itinerary board within eClaim Manager to their Garmin device with the click of a button.
These assignments are kept in a folder within Garmin’s Favorites menu for easy retrieval. The assignments are listed by distance (closest to furthest) from where you are.
In addition, to reduce the need to print out assignments or go back to the itinerary board, the assignments in the Garmin device include important information such as claim number, date and time, name of the owner, address, phone number, and priority.
