Changing Profiles
Any changes made to a profile are applied as soon as the profile is
saved. Any profile item left blank will not be compared to the estimate
during a compliance check.
Note: Compliance
Utility does not allow you to change an imported profile, or to create
a new profile.

Use this option to change any value or setting
for the current profile. When you have finished with changes, you must
click the Save button which is located next to the Profile Operation section.
Any changes made are applied as soon as the profile is saved. (Only users
of Estimate Review can change values and settings in an imported profile.)
Note: Profiles created
by compliance business partners cannot be changed in Estimate Review.

- Add New Profile
(Full Edition only) clears all settings
on all tabs so you can create a new profile.
To change an existing profile
- In the Main window, click
Profiles.
The Manage Profiles window appears.
- If there are multiple profiles
available, do one of the following:
- Use the navigation buttons
as needed to find the profile.
- Click Find
By Name to locate the profile.
- In
the bottom-left corner of the window, in the
Profile Operation section,
click Change This Profile.
- To change the name of the
profile, type a new Profile Name in the
text box at the top of the window.
- Make the necessary changes
to the profile values on each sub-tab, as follows:
- On the Rates
tab, set the guidelines for the available rates and adjustments.
- On the Admin
Alerts tab, select which items should be checked during the review.
- On the User
Defined tab, set user defined guidelines.
- On the Labor
tab, set the guidelines for labor allowances.
- On the Parts
tab, set the guidelines for using used, aftermarket, and remanufactured
parts.
- On the Frame
& Betterment tab, set the guidelines used for betterment and
frame items.
- On the Profile
Details tab, set profile details for the selected profile.
- On the Refinish
& Materials tab, set the guidelines for the refinish and materials
amounts.
- To save the changes, at
the bottom of the window click Save.
- Click Main
to return to the Main window.
- If prompted to save,
click Yes.

Profile Name
|
The name of the current profile. This name
appears in the Select Profile list when you start an estimate review.

Profile Operation
|
Allows you to choose which action you want
to perform from the following:
Use this option to view the settings of the current
profile.
Use this option to change any value or setting
for the current profile. When you have finished with changes, you must
click the Save button which is located near the bottom of the dialog box.
Any changes made are applied as soon as the profile is saved. (Compliance
Utility users cannot change values and settings in an imported profile.)
This option is not available in Compliance Utility.
Use this option to import or export a profile.
Compliance Utility users can import profiles that were created with Estimate
Review. Profiles can be exported by users of Estimate Review and those
with Administrator privileges.

Navigation Buttons

First
Goes to the first profile in the list.
|
|
Prev
Goes to the previous profile in the list.
|
|
Next
Goes to the next profile in the list.
|
|
Last
Goes to the last profile in the list.
|
Command Buttons
|
|
|
Save
Saves any changes to the current profile.
Although there are other Save buttons on specific tabs, only this button,
which is located near the bottom of the dialog box, can be used to save
the profile.

|
Copy
Saves a copy of the profile under a new
name. (This feature is supported in Estimate Review only.)
|
|
Delete
Deletes the current profile.
|
|
Cancel
This button becomes active only when viewing
a profile and allows you to close the profile without saving changes.
|
|
Find By Name
Allows you to search for a specific profile
by name.
|
|
Main
Returns to the Main menu.
