Mazda Collision Repair Process

Use the process below for Mazda vehicles if you have:

• No assignment (e.g. Walk-in)
• A direct repair program that allows Mitchell Cloud Estimating
• Receive an assignment outside of Mitchell Connect

1. As a part of the Mazda Collision Network, the Customer Satisfaction Survey is sent to the owner's email address. Verify the owner's email was added to the job. On the Job Overview page, click the Owner card. Enter the owner's email in the Email field if it is not already present.

2. Write and commit your estimate in Mitchell Cloud Estimating. Click Write Estimate on the Job Overview page to begin the process (see Write Estimate).

   

3. Mazda Collision Network jobs require a pre and post diagnostic scan. In order to receive credit for scans, the lines must originate from the Reference Sheet in Mitchell Cloud Estimating. Click Parts, click Reference Sheet, and then click Scanning to view.

   

4. Update the Repair Status on the Job Overview page. Click the Repair Status card to begin the process (see Repair Status). For accurate scorecard metrics, be sure to include the date the vehicle arrived at your location, the estimated completion date, and delivery date.

   

5. Complete the Repair QA process. On the Job Overview page, click the Repair Plan card to begin the process (see Repair QA).

   

6. To receive credit for Repair Procedures Acknowledged, be sure to open each article in the Repair Plan.

   

7. Update the Repair Status on the Job Overview page. Click the Repair Status card to begin the process (see Repair Status). For accurate scorecard metrics, be sure to include the date the vehicle was delivered back to the customer.

   

8. Click the MAZDA tab to open the Mazda Partners tab.

   

   Tip: The number 1 appears next to the Mazda if you have pending items to be submitted.

9. Click Submit for Reporting.
10. Mazda Estimate Adviser validates that your submitted estimate meets Mazda repair standards. If there are warnings or errors, provide explanations or update the estimate as needed. Click Done when complete.

    

    Note: Your estimate and repair information are submitted to your scorecard.

Use the process below for Mazda vehicles for estimates written in CCC.

1. Your estimates for CCC automatically appear in Mitchell Connect when you Configure EMS/BMS File Paths.
2. Click Jobs in the navigation pane. Locate and open the job in the Jobs list.
3. As a part of the Mazda Collision Network, the Customer Satisfaction Survey is sent to the owner's email address. Verify the owner's email was added to the job. On the Job Overview page, click the Owner card. Enter the owner's email in the Email field if it is not already present.
4. Update the Repair Status on the Job Overview page. Click the Repair Status card to begin the process (see Repair Status). For accurate scorecard metrics, be sure to include the date the vehicle arrived at your location, the estimated completion date, and delivery date.

1. Your estimates for Audatex automatically appear in Mitchell Connect when you Configure EMS/BMS File Paths.
