Creating Assignments

There are two ways to create an Assignment:

An insurance company creates an assignment and sends it to your shop through Mitchell Cloud Glass. See Finding and Viewing Assignments, and Accepting or Modifying Assignments.
Click New Claim to create an assignment in Mitchell Cloud Glass. The Coverage Verification screen appears. The information required here and in subsequent screens is dependent upon your insurance carrier. Refer to the documentation provided by the insurance carrier to complete the workflow.

Once an assignment is created, you can begin work on the assignment. For more information, see Accepting or Modifying Assignments.
