Current Assignments Details

Details provide information from the Dispatcher. You can expand an assignment to view the details. This is also where you update task status, add status notes, and send updates.

Mitchell recommends that you update the task status when you arrive on site and again before you leave the site.

ClosedTo update task status and send the update

  1. Click to expand the assignment details.
  2. Click the Task Status arrow, and select the appropriate status from the list. (See Component Descriptions on this page for descriptions of each of the statuses.)
  3. When you change the task status, you have the option to enter Status Notes.

  4. Enter any Status Notes that apply.
  5. Click Send Update.

Task Status

Not Arrived

Selected by default.

Arrived on Site

Indicates you are at the assignment location. It is recommended that you update task status when you arrive on site and before you leave the site.

No Vehicle Available - close

Indicates that the vehicle was not available when you arrived on site and there is no reason to return for an estimation (for example: the owner took the car to a body shop instead). This status closes the assignment but does not reschedule it.

No Vehicle Available - reschedule

Indicates that the vehicle was not available when you arrived on site and the assignment needs to be rescheduled to another day.

Not Completed

The estimation was begun but not completed for some reason, and so the assignment needs to be rescheduled to another day.

Completed

The estimation on the vehicle is complete. Assignments with this status are identified by a green checkmark.

Send Update

Sends the latest task status and notes for the selected assignment to the Dispatcher.

Print This

Prints the assignment to the default printer.
