Working with Rentals
The Rental tab in the Claim Suffix view shows the current rental status of the suffix record. If a claim does not have a rental, you can create a rental here.
From the Rental tab, you can:

- From the Integrated Work View, click a claim Task Type.
- Click the claim Suffix.
- Click the Rental tab.

Click the create a rental? link on the Rental tab to open the rental information window.
This link appears only if a Claim Suffix does not already have a rental associated with it.
- Complete the required information marked with red asterisks ( * ).

Click Search Vendor Location to search for a vendor.
A list of vendors and information about each vendor appears in the rental information window
- Click a vendor and click Select Location to choose that vendor for the rental.
- Complete any remaining required information for the rental and do one of the following:
- Click Save & Send to save and send the rental information to the vendor.
- Click Save & Close to save the rental information and close the rental information window without sending it to the vendor.

- From the Integrated Work View, click a claim Task Type.
- Click the claim Suffix.
- Click the Rental tab.
- Click Edit Rental.
- Complete any required edits for the rental and do one of the following:
- Click Save & Send to save and send the rental information to the vendor.
- Click Save & Close to save the rental information and close the rental information window without sending it to the vendor.

- From the Integrated Work View, click a claim Task Type.
- Click the claim Suffix.
- Click the Rental tab.
- Click Create Extension.
- Enter the extension amount and click Extend Rental.

- From the Integrated Work View, click a claim Task Type.
- Click the claim Suffix.
- Click the Rental tab.
- Click Cancel Rental.

- From the Integrated Work View, click a claim Task Type.
- Click the claim Suffix.
- Click the Rental tab.
- Click Unassociate Rental.

- From the Integrated Work View, click a claim Task Type.
- Click the claim Suffix.
- Click the Rental tab.

Click View Details.

From the Integrated Work View, click the New View tab.

Choose your tasks to from the Choose Tasks window.

Click Next Select Task Disposition.

Choose task dispositions for your selected tasks.

Click Done to return to the New View tab.

In the View Name field, name the new view, e.g., Rental Tasks.

Click Save New View.
