Send Worksheets

When a worksheet is complete, it is marked "Ready to Send," and then uploaded to the Mitchell host, where the valuation request is validated and processed. (The worksheet can also be printed and sent by fax.) For more information, see the Reference section below.

To send the completed request

  1. Before sending the request, make sure the information is correct and as complete as possible.
  2. In the upper-right corner of the worksheet, select the Ready To Send check box.
  3. If any required fields are blank, you will be prompted to complete them before continuing.
  1. Save the worksheet.
  2. Print a copy of the completed worksheet for your records.
  3. Do one of the following:
  4. On the toolbar, click Send Worksheet.
  5. On the Communications menu, click Send Worksheets.
  1. When prompted to verify the worksheets to be uploaded, make sure that the worksheet(s) you want to send are listed. If necessary, clear the check box of any worksheet that you do not want to send. Then, click Upload to send the worksheet(s) to the Mitchell host.

Reference

Ready To Send

Select the check box of each worksheet that you want to upload to the Mitchell host in this transmission.

Vehicle

The year, make, and model of the vehicle.

Owner

The first and last name of the vehicle owner.

Claim Number

The claim number associated with the total loss vehicle.

 

Ready To Send
Select the check box in the upper-right corner when the worksheet is ready to be submitted to the Mitchell host.

Upload
Sends the selected worksheet(s) to the Mitchell host.

Keyboard Shortcut: Ctrl + U


Cancel
Cancels the transmission request without uploading worksheets.

Keyboard Shortcut: Ctrl + C

 


Save
Saves any changes made to the worksheet.

Keyboard Shortcut: Ctrl + S
Command Equivalent: File > Save

Print
Prints the current worksheet.

Keyboard Shortcut: Ctrl + P
Command Equivalent: File > Print


Send Worksheet
Submits a completed worksheet to the Mitchell host.

Command Equivalent: Communications > Send Worksheets
