Time Management
Use the Time Management tab to see all employee clocked in and clocked out times, as well as the total number of hours worked. Details and totals are shown in the bottom half of the tab. You can make individual adjustments to an employee's hours, or add a new clock in and out entry.
Note: The Time Management tab displays only if you have Shop Clock licensed. Shop Clock can be added to any of the management packages, and is included in the Premiere package.
How to

Note: No corrections or changes can be made to a closed RO or an RO that has a Delivered date. A user with proper authorization must re-open the RO and/or remove the Delivered date before changes can be made (Accounting > Sales, right-click the RO line, select Re-Open Job). See Post Repair Orders for details.
- On the Labor menu, select the Management > Time Management tab.
- Select the employee from the list.
- Click Edit Times.
- Make the desired changes, then click OK. The employee's information is adjusted in the list.
Note: When you edit a Clock In or Clock Out time, you will not be allowed to overlap the time with another entry. For example, if there is an existing Clock Out time of 9:05 am, the next available Clock In time is 9:06 am.

- On the Labor menu, select the Management > Time Management tab.
- Click Add New Time.
- Select either the Repair Orders or the Non-RO Activities tab.
- Select the RO or Activity.
- For an RO, select the Labor Type.
- Select the Employee.
- Adjust the Clock In and Clock Out times
- Click Add Time.
- Close the dialog box by clicking
.
- The new time entries have been added to the list.
- To add additional time, repeat steps 2-10 as needed.

When entering Clock In and Clock Out times manually, you may receive an error message if the times overlap. For example, if a technician's clock out time from one job is the same as the clock in time to the next job, RepairCenter will require you to change one of the times. This will only happen if times are entered manually through Time Management.
When times are clocked automatically, the system deals in seconds and can record the same hour/minute combination for both clocking out and clocking in.
