FastPhoto Manager
Use the FastPhoto Manager camera to automatically link photos to Repair Orders or Opportunities. Scan bar-codes from RepairCenter reports and all captured pictures are automatically linked through each stage of the job.
Note: FastPhoto Manager is a subscription-based add-on module for RepairCenter. You will be provided with more detailed information regarding FastPhoto Manager when the product is purchased and delivered.
The FastPhoto bar-code prints on the following reports:
- RO Mirror Tags #21
- Key Tag Report #166
- RO Cover Sheet #79
- Work Order Report #47
Note: If you do not have a bar-code, you can still take job-related snapshots and send them to a mapped drive on your server. They are then available in the Global Attachments tab for both Repair Orders and Opportunities. (See FAQs below for mapping to a network drive.)
How to

- Scan the bar-code of the Repair Order or Opportunity. The bar-code automatically links all its associated photos to the RO or Opportunity.
- Take pictures of vehicle damage, documents, and other images you wish to associate with the RO or Opportunity.
- Send the pictures from the camera to RepairCenter, where they are sorted, sized, and organized.

- On the Whiteboard, select the RO or on the List View tab, select the Opportunity.)
- Select one of the following from the Print list:
- Cover Sheet
- Mirror Tag
- Key Tag
- In the Print dialog box, click Print. The selected report is previewed on the screen. Now you are ready to scan the bar-code.
Tip: Print at least one of these bar-codes and place in or on the vehicle upon its arrival so the bar-code is readily available for all staff that might need to take photos.

You can scan the bar-code from the screen, or print a copy and scan it from the printed document.
- Use the green Power button to turn the FastPhoto Manager camera on.
- Click the ADJ/MEMO button (second from the top, with a slight bump on the button for 500-series cameras).
- Aim the camera at the bar-code so that it is completely visible (including the numbers below the bar-code) in the LCD monitor. Click the L (left) arrow button to start scanning the bar-code.
- When the scanning is complete, verify that the Stage selection is highlighted in yellow. Click the R (right) arrow button to change the Stage.
- Using the UP and DOWN arrow buttons, select the desired repair stage:
- Initial
- Pre-existing Damage
- Initial In-Progress
- Supplement
- Parts
- Finished
- Click OK. If more vehicle photos are needed, follow steps 1-6 again for all vehicles.
Note: Taking multiple vehicle photos may take more time to send the images.

- Once the bar-code has been scanned and the repair stage selected, use the camera to take the desired pictures for the related job.
Note: If you are using AutoWatch, select it here and follow the normal AutoWatch process.
- When you have taken all
the images for the desired job, transmit them to the server. Follow the P-O-U-R process below:
- Click the Playback button.
- Click Menu/OK to bring up the options for playback mode.
- Press UP once, which will select File Send.
- Click the Right Arrow button, which takes you to the Send To screen. FastPhoto Manager is selected by default.
- Click Menu/OK a second time.
- Select Send All, and then click OK. As your images are transferred from the camera to the server, they are automatically deleted from the camera.
Tip: you can access the RO's Attachments tab or the Opportunities (Estimates & Assignments) > Attachments tab to see the images.

Map images to a network drive for easy reference and to share images in your shop.
1. Right-click the My Computer icon on your desktop.
2. Select Map Network Drive.
3. Select a drive letter F: for “FastPhoto Manager” is recommended, if it is available).
4. In the Folder field, the path entered should be:
\\ipaddress\claimsnap\
(for example, \192.168.10.100\claimsnap\)
5. Select the Reconnect at logon check box (otherwise the drive will disappear upon reboot).
6. Click Finish.
Tip: If you forget to scan a bar-code before taking a picture, your images are automatically transfer to the mapped network drive you created. They can be located in the Miscellaneous folder. You can import images from your mapped network drive to the correct RO or Opportunity from the Attachments tab in RepairCenter.

With your purchase of FastPhoto Manager, your system is automatically configured to your shop's RepairCenter workspace. If you recently received your FastPhoto Manager system and can't find your images:
- Check the To scan the bar-code instructions above to insure the barcode was scanned correctly.
- Check the Take pictures and send images to the RO or Opportunity instructions above to ensure the correct steps were followed when transferring images to your server.

You can find your images in 3 places:
Find Images from the Opportunity or RO attachments tab
- Double-click a Repair Order or Opportunity.
- Click the Attachments tab. All images that were linked to this RO or Opportunity will automatically appear here.
Find Images from the Global Opportunity/RO attachments tab
On the Repair Orders tab or the Opportunities tab, click the Attachments tab. The attachments for all active ROs and Opportunities will be visible here.
