Cycle Time
Use the Cycle Time tab to measure your shop's cycle time from the start date to the completion date for each job. This tab is accessed by selecting the Analytics menu and selecting Performance Indicators, then selecting Cycle Time from the list.
How to

- From the Analytics menu, select Performance Indicators, then click Cycle Time.
- The Cycle Time tab consists of three parts: The list of repair orders, the criteria fields (dates, filters, etc.), and the results at the bottom.
- Select the Start Date criteria from the list: Due In, Due Out, Completed, Delivered, Closed.
- Enter the beginning and ending date range (between).
- From the Select list, select All repair orders, or show only those for a specific Insurance Company, Estimator, or vehicle Make. If something other than All is selected, a having field appears, offering a list of criteria to choose from (such as different vehicle makes, etc.).
- Click the Apply Filter button.
- Select further criteria from the Review section at the bottom of the tab:
- Date of Loss
- Assignment
- Arrival

As you click each of the options, the information in the fields above (in the main body of the tab) adjusts to that criteria.
- Click the Exclude by Job Type button at the top of the tab to exclude specific job types from the cycle time listing. Once you have selected all the desired exclusions, click OK. The information in the list then adjusts.
- Click the Ranges button (in the top section of the tab) to view a Job Range Analysis box. In the box, select to view ranges of either Dollars or Hours (in the lower right corner of the box).
- Totals are shown at the bottom of the tab. Depending on the criteria selected, the list above will also reflect the filters applied.
- Click the Print Preview button to see a preview of the Cycle Time Ranges by Dollars (Hours) report.
- Print the report by clicking the printer icon
in the upper left corner of the report preview.
Reference
You can track cycle times from the date of loss, date of assignment, date of estimate, in date, out date, completed date, delivery date, and closed date.
Cycle time information can be broken down by job size in dollars and/or job size by hours. You can also see the number of jobs in that size and the percentage of work that number represents of your overall total. You can also check the number of hours produced per job on a per day basis through completion and delivered dates. (This calculation includes weekends.)
All cycle time data can be printed.
