Batting Average (Analytics - Performance Indicators)
Use the Batting Average tab from the Analytics menu (under Performance Indicators) to track captured jobs versus lost opportunities. From this tab, you can also track:
- The number of jobs received from insurance companies.
- The number of estimates written, and by whom.
- The number of jobs by vehicle make.
- The number of jobs by customer zip code.
This information can be viewed in a list or as a graph, and can be printed in report form.
How to

- From the Analytics menu, select Performance Indicators, then click the Batting Average tab.
- The tab consists of three parts: the criteria fields (dates, filters, etc.), the list of repair orders, and the resulting batting average totals at the bottom.
- In the Estimated/Sold Between field at the top of the tab, select the beginning and ending dates from the calendars.
- In the Select field next to the date filters, choose criteria from the list, according to what you want to filter on (e.g., All, Insurance Company, Estimator, etc.).
- Click the Apply Filter button to implement the filters.
The repair orders that fit the filtering criteria are shown in the list; batting average totals for those repair orders appear in the bottom section of the tab under Total.

- In the Select field next to the date filters, choose All to include all types of criteria.
- Click the Graph button at the top right of the tab; the Graph box appears.
- Select the View By criteria (Insurance Companies, Estimators, etc.).
- Select the Chart Type (Pie chart or Bar graph).
- Select the view 3D check box if you wish to see the graph rendered in 3D.
- Click the Print button in the Graph box.
- Select the Print Summary Only check box to see only a summary of the details.
- On the previewed graph, click the printer icon
at the top left to print a copy of the report.
- Click
to close the graph preview.
