Accounting Interfaces
RepairCenter is not an Accounting package and does not contain any accounting features.
To handle your shop's accounting needs, The RepairCenter Accounting Standard module interfaces with the following accounting software products:
The RepairCenter Accounting Premium module interfaces with the above software, as well as with the following:
Setting Up the Accounting Log Directory
Before setting up your specific accounting software, the accounting log directory must be established. This directory contains the folder for your accounting system and is necessary for communications between RepairCenter and the accounting system. This log directory must exist on all shop workstations.

- Create a new directory, or choose an existing directory where you want the log directory to reside.
- Click More
, and then click Configuration
. Click the File Directories tab.
- Select the Miscellaneous tab.
- Click Change, and then navigate to the desired directory.
- Click OK.
- For BusinessWorks users, you will also need to identify the path that contains the BWGAccess.exe directory.
- Click Change, and then navigate to the desired directory.
- Click OK.
Setting up the Interface
Once the Accounting Log Directory has been set up, there are 3 steps to setting up an accounting interface:
- Select your Accounting Package.
- Set up your accounting options.
- Set up your Profit Centers and Chart of Accounts.
