Estimating Parts Report

This report is used to view the predefined parts metrics based on the organization resource hierarchy. With this report you can track the use of various part types associated with estimate lines, overrides, and changes including average non-OEM delta per estimate.

To view a Estimating Details report

In the Report Navigator, under Mitchell Reports, WorkCenter Estimating, click Estimating Parts Report.
Set the filter criteria for your report (see Screen Components below).
Click View Report.

The system retrieves the data, then the report appears in the workspace.

Screen Components

Filter	Definition
Region	Lists the available regions. Click to select the applicable region.
Division	Lists the available divisions based on selected region. Click to select the applicable division.
Office	Lists the available offices based on selected division. Click to select the applicable office.
User	Lists the available users based on selected office. Click to select the applicable user.
Estimate Repairability	This identifies the vehicle as a Partial Loss (Repairable) or a Total Loss selected when writing the estimate. Lists the available values - Unknown Estimate Repairability, Total Loss, Partial Loss.
Estimator Type	The estimator type is based on the user who created the estimate. Lists the available values - Body Shop, Independent, Staff, Unknown Estimator Type.
Vendor Type	Vendor Type identifies the estimating system used to create the estimate. Lists the available values - Unknown Estimate Vendor, Mitchell International, CCC, Audatex
Inspection Type	This identifies where inpection took place. Lists the available values - Audit, Drive-In, Field, Other Inspection Type, Unknow Inspection Type.
Drivable Condition	This identifies the vehicle drivable condition. Lists the available values - Not Available, Unknown Vehicle Drivable Indicator, Vehicle Drivable, Vehicle Non-Drivable.
Vehicle Type	Vehicle Type groupings are identified by using Make and Model and Mitchell internal tables.Â Lists the available values - Car, Truck, Van, SUV, Other
Date Range	The Date Range filter is based on Original Commit Date. If a specific date range is selected from the dropdown such as YTD and the start and end dates are changed, the report will still display data for YTD. The date range 'Custom' must be selected before start and end dates can be applied to a report.

ORG HIERARCHY	This contains the hierarchy (region, division, office) of estimators.
% Ests w/OEM Parts	Total number of estimates containing one or more OEM parts as a percentage of the total number of estimates.
% Ests w/LKQ Parts	Total number of estimates containing one or more LKQ parts as a percentage of the total number of estimates.
% Ests w/Aftmkt Parts	Total number of estimates containing one or more Aftermarket parts as a percentage of the total number of estimates.
% Ests w/Reman d Parts	Total number of estimates containing one or more Remanâ€™d parts as a percentage of the total number of estimates. Includes Recored, Rechromed and Remanufactured part types.
% Ests w/Other Parts	Total number of estimates containing one or more OEM parts as a percentage of the total number of estimates. If any part type other than Existing, Sublet, OEM, Aftmkt, LKQ, or Remanâ€™d is identified on the repair line then this is included in its calculation.
% Aftmkt Part Amt	Total Aftermarket Part dollar amount as a percentage of the total part dollar amount on all estimates. Markups, Discounts and Tax are included.
% OEM Part Amt	Total OEM Part dollar amount as a percentage of the total part dollar amount on all estimates. Markups, Discounts and Tax are included.
% Reman'd Part Amt	Total Remanâ€™d Part dollar amount as a percentage of the total part dollar amount on all estimates. Includes Recored, Rechromed and Remanufactured part types. Markups, Discounts and Tax are included.
% Alternate Part Amt	Total Aftermarket, LKQ and Reman'd Part dollar amounts as a percentage of the total part dollar amount on all estimates. Markups, Discounts and Tax are included.
% LKQ Part Amt	Total LKQ Part dollar amount as a percentage of the total part dollar amount on all estimates. Markups, Discounts and Tax are included.
% Other Part Amt	Total Other Part dollar amount as a percentage of the total part dollar amount on all estimates. If any part type other than Existing, Sublet, OEM, Aftmkt, LKQ, or Reman'd is identified on the repair line then this is included in this calculation. Markups, Discounts and Tax are included.
% Sublet Part Amt	Total Sublet Part dollar amount as a percentage of the total part dollar amount on all estimates. Sublet lines are included if the Labor Operation is Remove/Replace or Overhaul. All other Sublet Part $ amounts are applied to Labor. Markups, Discounts and Tax are included.
Avg Aftmkt Part Price per Part	Total Aftmkt Part Price divided by the total number of Aftmkt parts on all estimates. Markups, Discounts and Tax are included.
Avg LKQ Part Price per Part	Total LKQ Part Price divided by the total number of LKQ parts on all estimates. Markups, Discounts and Tax are included.
Avg Reman'd Part Price per Part	Total Reman'd Part Price divided by the total number of Reman'd parts on all estimates. Includes Recored, Rechromed and Remanufactured part types. Markups, Discounts and Tax are included.
Avg OEM Part Price per Part	Total OEM Part Price divided by the total number of OEM parts on all estimates. Markups, Discounts and Tax are included.
Avg Part per Est	Total Part dollar amount divided by the total number of estimates.Â Includes all Part Types, Markups, Discounts and Tax. Sublet lines are included if the Labor Operation is Remove/Replace or Overhaul.Â All other Sublet Part $ amounts are applied to Labor. TruckEst: Tax is not included.
Avg Other Part Price per Part	Total Part Price of Other types of parts divided by the total number of Other types of parts on all estimates. If any part type other than Existing, Sublet, OEM, Aftmkt, LKQ, or Reman'd is identified on the repair line then this is included in this calculation. Markups, Discounts and Tax are included.
# MAPP Parts	Number of MAPP parts used in all final versions of estimates (including supplements). (MAPP - Mitchell Alternate Part Program)
# MAPP Ests	Total number of final versions of estimates containing one or more MAPP parts selected using the Mitchell Alternate Part Program.
AFTMKT Savings Delta Amt	Total delta attributed to using Aftermarket parts. This value considers the difference between the cost of OEM parts and Aftermarket parts, Markups, Discounts and Tax have been included in this calculation.
% Parts Replaced	Total number of parts with a Replace labor operation as a percentage of the total number of parts on all estimates.
REMAN'd Savings Delta Amt	Total delta attributed to using Reman'd parts. This value considers the difference between the cost of OEM parts and Reman'd parts. Markups, Discounts, and Taxes are included in this calculation. Includes Recored, Rechromed and Remanufactured part types.
APU Savings Delta Amt	APU (Alternate Part Usage). Total delta attributed to using Aftermarket, LKQ, Remanufactured, Rechromed and Recored parts. This value considers the difference between the cost of OEM parts and APU parts, Markups, Discounts and Tax have been included in this calculation.
LKQ Savings Delta Amt	Total delta attributed to using LKQ parts. This value considers the difference between the cost of OEM parts and LKQ parts. Markups, Discounts, and Taxes are included in this calculation.
