Impact

Use the Impact tab to identify the damaged areas of the vehicle. Each point of impact (POI) is numbered and color-coded on the diagram. For more information, see the Reference section below.

To complete the Vehicle Impact information

  1. On the Vehicle - Impact tab,  click the primary POI. Then, click each additional area that sustained damage. Each area selected is numbered in sequence.
  2. To change any of the selected areas, do the following:
  3. In the Primary list, select the primary point of impact.
  1. Under the Secondary heading, select all areas damaged from the impact.
  2. To continue, click the Condition tab.

Primary

Select the primary point of impact from the list of options. In the diagram, the primary point of impact (#1) is indicated in a yellow box.

Options:
1 - Right Front Corner
2 - Right Front Side
3 - Right Side
4 - Right Rear Side
5 - Right Rear Corner
6 - Rear
7 - Left Rear Corner
8 - Left Rear Side
9 - Left Side
10 - Left Front Side
11 - Left Front Corner
12 - Front
13 - Rollover
14 - Unknown Point of Impact
15 - Total Loss
16 - Non-Collision
17 - All Over
18 - Undercarriage

Secondary

Select all secondary points of impact from the list of options.  In the diagram, the secondary points of impact are numbered sequentially and indicated by a red box.

Options: (Same as above.)

Combination

A combination point of impact (both primary and secondary) is indicated by an orange and red box.
