Equipment

Use the Equipment tab to identify standard and optional equipment on the vehicle. The information entered on the Vehicle Equipment tab appears on the Total Loss Inspection Worksheet and Valuation Report. For more information, see the Reference section below.

To complete the Vehicle Equipment information

Under the Equipment tab, click the Mitchell Standard/Optional, N.A.D.A., Red Book, or Other Factory Equipment tabs as required.
Review the items in the equipment list. If the vehicle does not have an item shown on the list, clear the check box by clicking on it. Selected items have checkmarks.

Note: Some Mitchell Standard Options are pre-selected for review only (1997 - Current Model Year) and cannot be altered.

To continue, click the Impact tab.

To calculate an N.A.D.A. total retail value for the selected vehicle

Click the N.A.D.A. vehicle equipment tab.
Click Calculate N.A.D.A. Total Retail Value at the bottom of the N.A.D.A. vehicle equipment tab.

To calculate a Red Book total retail value for the selected vehicle

Click the Red Book vehicle equipment tab.
Click Calculate Red Book Total Retail Value at the bottom of the Red Book vehicle equipment tab.

Field Descriptions

Mitchell (Standard/Optional Equipment) 1988-96 model years
Exterior	Clear or select listed items as required. Selected items have checkmarks.
Interior	Clear or select listed items as required. Selected items have checkmarks.
Mechanical	Clear or select listed items as required. Selected items have checkmarks.
Safety	Clear or select listed items as required. Selected items have checkmarks.
Mitchell Standard Equipment 1997- Current Model Years
Exterior, Interior, Mechanical and Safety options are pre-selected for 1997 - Current Model Years.
Mitchell Optional 1997- Current Model Years
Clear or select listed items as required. Selected items have checkmarks.
DIO	Dealer Installed Option
Package Options	Clear or select listed items as required. Selected items have checkmarks. Note: If the vehicle has Package Options, you can click Show Equipment to view the equipment associated with the option package.

N.A.D.A	Clear or select listed items as required. Selected items have checkmarks. On the N.A.D.A tab you can calculate the retail value of a vehicle by clicking Calculate N.A.D.A. Total Retail Value at the bottom of the N.A.D.A. vehicle equipment tab.
Red Book	Clear or select listed items as required. Selected items have checkmarks. On the Red Book tab you can calculate the retail value of a vehicle by clicking Calculate Red Book Total Retail Value at the bottom of the Red Book vehicle equipment tab.
Other Factory Equipment	Add information for other factory equipment as required. For additional entry rows, click in the text area below your last entry or click another entry line.

Command Buttons

	Click to calculate the N.A.D.A. Total Retail Value for the loss vehicle.
	Click to calculate the U.S. Red Book Total Retail Value for the loss vehicle.
