Use the
Be sure to configure a numbering system that your accounting program accepts.

Note: If the above table doesn't include your accounting program, check the program to determine the appropriate length for invoice numbers.
How to

- On the toolbar, click the More menu list at the top right; then select Configuration.
- Click the General tab.
- On the General tab, under Estimate Conversion Settings, select the Allow RO Numbers to be changed check box.
- To enable consecutive repair order numbers, select the Change RO Number when converting estimates check box.

Under Next Repair Order Number, select numbering options.
To achieve this Do this The repair order number is the same as the estimate number. Leave the section blank. Repair order numbers are consecutive.
Select the Use the same number for all estimates check box.
Type a number that is one less than the number you want the first repair order to be.
Important: The Change RO Number when converting estimates check box under Estimate Conversion Settings must be selected, or this setting won't work.
Repair order numbers include a prefix unique to the estimating program the estimate was created in.
Note: Prefixes aren't transferred to Sage Business Works, ADP, or Reynolds & Reynolds.
Clear the Use the same number for all estimates check box.
For each estimating program, type a numerical prefix.
Reset the repair order numbers. Click Reset.
In the ResetAutoRO dialog box, click Yes.
Select the Use the same number for all estimates check box.
Type a new starting number.
Reset a prefix.
Next to the estimating program whose prefix you want to reset, click Reset.
In the ResetAutoRO dialog box, click Yes.
Type a new prefix.
- Click Update to save your work.
