Switch to a Different Shop

Before switching to a shop, be sure you have the following information:

  • The Client Access Code (provided to the shop when the shop was installed).
  • An Administrator password for the shop.

In order to switch from one shop to another, each shop must be licensed for the shop switcher and each shop must be configured for at least one shop to switch to.

For a typical configuration, where the headquarters (main) shop will be switching to other shops on the shop network, add each shop to the main shop switcher. For the other shops, each shop must be configured to switch back to the main shop.

If you want access from any shop on the shop network to any other shop on the shop network, then every shop must be configured to switch to every other shop.

Once you have access to a shop, it is highly recommended that you set yourself up as a user for each shop you will be switching to. Each person who will be using the shop switcher should be set up as an employee in each shop.
