Shop Setup – The Shop Information Tab (Configure Shop)
Use the Shop Information tab to enter administrative information about your shop, configure your work order settings, apply Canadian Tax Settings, and set up and manage a multiple-shop group. Any shop that exists in the Shop Switcher can be added to a group.

How to

- On the toolbar, click the More menu list at the top right; then select Configuration. Configuration opens to the Shop Information tab.

- On the toolbar, click the More menu list at the top right; then select Configuration. Configuration opens to the Shop Information tab.
- On the Shop Information tab, complete at least the required fields.
Note: Required fields are marked with a red asterisk (*).

- Click the Update button to save your work.

The steps to set up a multi-shop group (MSO - Multiple Shop Organization) depend on whether your shop leads a group or is a member of an existing group.

- On the toolbar, click the More menu list at the top right; then select Configuration. Configuration opens to the Shop Information tab.
- On the Shop Information tab, click Edit Shops.
- In the MultiShop Setup dialog box, click Delete Group.

Indicates whether your shop is Canadian. |
We Compute Taxes By |
The shop's tax setting. This list appears only if the We are a Canadian Shop check box is selected. |
Print BAR and EPA numbers on customer documents/BAR #/EPA # |
For California shops only. Indicates whether the shop's Bureau of Automotive Repair (BAR) and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) identification numbers are included on customer documents, such as invoices. When the check box is selected, you can type the BAR and EPA numbers in the appropriate boxes. Note: These fields are visible only if the We are a Canadian Shop check box is clear. |
Phone 1, Phone 2, Fax |
The shop's phone and fax numbers. You can enter up to two phone numbers with extensions. |
Parts Phone, Parts Fax |
The contact information for the shop's Parts department. |

Use French Language |
Indicates whether certain customer-facing reports are printed in French. Important: These reports are printed in French only if both the Use French Language and the We are a Canadian Shop check boxes are selected. |
Suppress Customer and Insurance Information on the Technician Work Orders |
For consumer privacy compliance, select this check box to prevent customer information from appearing on the RO Assignment report (#47) and the Classic Work Order report (#165). |
Multiple Shop Group |
This check box indicates whether your shop is part of a group of shops (as a member or the lead). |
Add Shops |
Add shops to a multiple-shop group. This button is displayed if your shop is a member of a group. If your shop leads the group, the Edit Shops button is displayed instead. This button appears dimmed and is unavailable when the Multiple Shop Group check box is clear. |
Edit Shops |
Delete shops from multiple-shop group. This button is displayed if your shop is the lead shop. If your shop is a member of the group, the Add Shops button is displayed instead. This button is not displayed when the Multiple Shop Group check box is clear. |
