Shop Setup – The Warranty Tab
Use the Warranty tab to configure which shop and insurance warranties are available to customers.
Note: When you configure which warranties your shop offers, you're configuring only the available types (time frames). Warranty types are available in RepairCenter so the shop can document which customer received which warranty. The details of each warranty must be maintained outside of RepairCenter.
Both shop and insurance warranties include default Lifetime, 5 years, and 1 year types. These default types cannot be edited, but you can add custom ones. Delete any types that your shop doesn't offer.
