Add the Estimate to Mitchell Connect

Note: If another user has already added an estimate, you cannot upload another estimate. The Estimate card displays the name of the estimator.

1. On the Job Overview page for the assignment, click Add Existing Estimate.

   

2. The Add Estimates page shows all estimates written in the last week. If your estimate doesn't show, try the following:
• Expand the date range in the Date Range list.

  

• Click View & Edit Locations at the bottom of the page and add the paths to where your estimating system exports estimates.

Tip: Mitchell Connect places the most likely estimate at the top of the list.

3. Click Select Estimate. A PDF estimate automatically appears if you are using UltraMate. If you are using CCC or Audaexplore, you can drag and drop a PDF version of the estimate that you already created and saved to your machine.
4. Once you see the PDF added, do one of the following:

• Click Add Estimate if you're ready to use the estimate.
• Click Use Different PDF and navigate to a different PDF estimate.

5. When the estimate is successfully uploaded to the job, the estimate value displays on the Job Overview page. Attach photos and other documents as needed.

Note: You can add more than one committed estimate at once. Multiple estimates display in order on the Estimate Manager page.

Add existing estimates if you already have one available or if you started the estimate in your estimating system before you had an assignment available. Use this feature if you have not downloaded assignment details from Mitchell Connect to your estimating system.

1. On the Job Overview page, click Add Existing Estimate.

• Expand the date range by selecting a different date range in the Date Range list.

  

• Click View & Edit Locations and add the paths to where your estimating system exports estimates.

  Tip: :Mitchell Connect places the most likely estimate at the top of the list.

3. Click Select Estimate. A PDF estimate automatically appears if you are using UltraMate. If you are using CCC or Audaexplore, you can drag and drop a PDF version of the estimate that you already created and saved to your machine.
   
4. Do one of the following:

• Click Add Estimate if you're ready to use the estimate.
• Click Use Different PDF and navigate to a different PDF estimate.

5. When the estimate is successfully loaded to the Job, the estimate value displays on the Job Overview page. Attach photos and other documents as needed.

The Add Completed Estimate card appears after you successfully download your estimate to UltraMate.

1. On the Job Overview page, click Add Completed Estimate.

   

2. The Add Estimates page shows all estimates written in the last week. If your estimate doesn't show, try the following:
• Expand the date range in the Date Range list.

  

• Click View & Edit Locations at the bottom of the page and add the paths to where your estimating system exports estimates.

5. When the estimate is successfully uploaded to the Job, the estimate value displays on the Job Overview page. Attach photos and other documents as needed.

You can only delete an estimate if it has not yet been shared with the insurance company via the Send to Insurance workflow.

• On the Estimate card on the Job Overview page, click Delete.

  

You can view Estimate details for specific estimates directly from the Estimate card.

1. On the Jobs Overview page, click the value amount on the Estimate card. The Assignment Details window opens.

   

2. Scroll down to view additional details.
3. Click Print to print the estimate details.
4. Click Done to close the Estimate Details window.

You can view and print appraisal and supplement assignment details as a PDF to view and print. The insurance company may use annotations to make note of corrections or other changes. View those changes on the Assignment Details window. Changes are shown in red.

1. From the Job Overview page, click the menu icon on the Estimate or Repair Assignment card.
2. Select View Details.

   

3. In the Assignment Details window, review the annotations.

   

4. Click Print to print the changes or Close to close the window.

5. On the Job Overview card, click the Messages tab to view your annotation.

You can access the Estimate page directly from the Estimate card to write a supplement, view estimate history, or export an EMS file. You can also view details of the most current estimate on the job.

1. On the Job Overview page, do one of the following:

• Click any blank space on the Estimate card to open the Estimate page.
• Click the amount shown on the Estimate card to view the latest Estimate on the job.

  

2. Click Done to close the view.
