Add Attachments

Use the Attachments tab in an open opportunity or repair order to add photos, vendor invoices, towing bills, and other supporting documentation. Once a file as added as an attachment, you can make it the cover image for the job.

RepairCenter accepts most common file formats as attachments.

Picture .jpg, .jpeg, or .png
Audio .wav
Text .txt
Microsoft Word document .doc or .docx
Microsoft Excel document .xls or .xlsx
Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF) .pdf

Note: You can also add attachments to opportunities from the Attachments View tab and to repair orders from the global Attachments tab.

How to

  1. Open the opportunity or repair order you want to work in, and then click the Attachments tab.
  2. On the Attachments tab, click the My Computer tab (or the Favorites tab).
  3. Browse to the folder containing the files you want to attach, and then click to select it.The files it contains appear.

  4. Click to select a file. You can also select multiple attachments by holding down Ctrl while clicking each attachment (or by clicking Select All).
  5. When you finish selecting files, click Attach Files.
  6. In the Attach to Job dialog box, verify the appropriate files are included.
  1. Click Attach Items. The dialog box closes and the files appear in the attachments box.
  1. Open the opportunity or repair order you want to work in, and then click the Attachments tab.
  2. On the Attachments tab, double-click the attachment.
  3. In the Edit Images and Documents dialog box, click .
  4. In the Delete Attachment dialog box, click Delete.
  1. On the Attachments tab, double-click the image you want to make the job's cover image.
  2. In the Edit Images and Documents dialog box, on the Caption and Category tab, select the Cover Image for RO check box.
  3. Click Save.
