Application Access – The Password Protect Tab

Use the Password Protect tab to specify which functions and features require a password.

Once you've specified which items are password-protected, associate those items with security groups.

Note: Password protection for Shop Clock access is configured separately.

How to

  1. On the toolbar, click the More menu list at the top right; then select Configuration.
  2. Click the Application Access tab, and then click the Password Protect tab.
  3. On the Password Protect tab, in the Required column, select the check box of each item that requires a password.
  • To limit the number of items you see, select a category in the Show list to filter by and then click Apply Filter.
  1. Click the Update button to save your work.

  2. Click the Production tab, and then click the Shop Clock tab.
  3. On the Shop Clock tab, do one of the following:
  • To require a password for Shop Clock access, clear the Don't require a password check box.
  • To not require a password for Shop Clock access, select the Don't require a password check box.
  1. Click the Update button to save your work.
