Application Access – The Security Groups Tab

Use the Security Groups tab to manage security groups.

This tab includes 10 default security groups, and you can create new ones.

Note: The default groups cannot be edited or deleted (users can be added to them).

A security group is a set of permissions to various functions and features. Once a security group is established, you can assign users to it. When a permission is enabled for a group, everyone in the group gets that permission.

There are three types of permissions you can assign:

  • Application Permissions control access to the various features and functions available throughout RepairCenter.
  • Report Permissions control access to RepairCenter reports.
  • Add On Permissions control access to ToolStore, RepairCenter Mobile, and other add-on modules.
