Parts Search

Use the Parts Search button on the Whiteboard tab of the Repair Orders screen to find parts using part numbers or descriptions.

Note: Your shop must be licensed for the Parts Management module to use this feature.

How to

  1. On the Whiteboard tab, click the Parts Search button.
  2. In the Search for a Part dialog box, click one of the following:
  • To search by the part number, click Part Number.
  • To search by the description, click Description.
  1. In the text box, enter the part number or the description. Enter an asterisk (*) if you want to do a "wild card" search.
  2. Click Search. The results are listed by repair order in the dialog box.

Note: The search information is not case-sensitive.
