Refinish & Materials

The Refinish & Materials tab allows you to set guidelines for total dollar expenditures for refinish and several items other than the actual repair. You can also set partial and spot refinish alerts to allow a user to consider partial or spot refinish when repair labor is less than or equal to a given amount. Items that are not applicable should be left blank. Items that should never be included in an estimate (items that are not covered) should be set to “0” (zero).

  1. From the Main window, click Profiles.

The Manage Profiles window appears.

  1. At the bottom of the window, under Profile Operation, select Add New Profile.
    Or, find the profile you want to change and select Change This Profile.
  2. On the Refinish & Materials tab, under Materials, Etc. enter the guideline amount for each item available. Entries are shown in dollars and cents (for example, 5.95).
  3. Under Partial and Spot Refinish Alerts, enter the labor dollar amount for each item as needed. When the dollar amount is met during a review, a message will appear suggesting that a partial refinish should be considered for the item.
  4. Click Save.
