Rates

The Rates tab allows you to set labor rates, tax rates, and adjustments. Adjustments can be negative (discount) or positive (markup).

The Rates tab is divided into two sections. The first is used to set labor and tax rates, the second allows you to set adjustments. Labor rates are defined as per hour or unit of labor. Tax rates are applied to the total of parts or labor. Adjustments can be positive (markups) or negative (discounts).

Items that are not applicable should be left blank. To specify that an item should never be included in an estimate (such as an item that is not covered by the insurance carrier) set the Rate to “0” (zero).
