Power of Attorney
The Power of Attorney grants limited and specific power of attorney to a specified party to act as attorney-in-fact and conduct the necessary business related to the settlement of the total loss claim. In this case, the form grants authority to the insurance carrier to act on behalf of the vehicle owner to transfer ownership of the loss vehicle to the carrier for its subsequent disposal. The form should be printed and signed by the appropriate parties and witnesses. The form is listed under Documents in the navigation bar.
How to
Print the Form
- On the navigation pane under Documents, click Settlement Form.
- From the Document window, click the print icon
and then click Print.
Save the Form
- From the Document window, click the save icon
. - Choose a location, and then click Save.
