Resolve Ambiguous Vehicle ID
If more than one vehicle matches the VIN, you will be prompted to identify the correct description from a list of closely matching vehicles. For example, the same VIN may be assigned to a vehicle that is available with either a manual or automatic transmission. In such a case, you would be prompted to resolve the ambiguous Vehicle ID by selecting the correct vehicle.
How to

- When prompted, select the entry that matches the claim vehicle.
- Click Save to return to the valuation request worksheet.

- If necessary, open the worksheet and click Edit Admin & Vehicle Info.
- In the Vehicle ID section of the worksheet, under Additional Information, click Edit.
- In the list, select the description that matches the claim vehicle.
- Click Save to return to the Vehicle Info. Then, click Save & Continue to return to the worksheet.
