Features and Components

Use connections to communicate privately with people and build networks.

Connections are people who you've added as a connection and who use a Mitchell International, Inc. product. You can participate in private conversations with your connections and add them to your networks.

Use networks to group your connections so that you can easily send private conversations to several people simultaneously. You can create a network of coworkers, a network of colleagues who are working on the same job, and other related connections.

Use conversations (messages) to communicate and collaborate with coworkers, suppliers, customers, and business partners.

Conversations can be:

• Public or private.
• General For example, "We're sending a new procedure handbook to all of our employees." or specific to a job.
• A replacement for phone calls and email.

Subscribe to a job or person to proactively receive alerts and other information about that job or person.

When a conversation specific to a job you subscribe to appears in your information feed, the conversation includes the repair orderopportunity number and vehicle information (make and model).

Use the information feed to view all conversations, alerts, and information from subscriptions. Filter the information feed to view specific information.

The information feed is Hub's home page. Return to it by clicking your name on the Hub toolbar.

Use alerts to determine if you have any actions to take or information to review.

You can receive three types of alerts:

Action Required

Informational

Informational alerts communicate updates to jobs and people you subscribe to, networks you belong to, and other information related to you about what's happening in (Undefined variable: HubVariables.ProductName_RC-Client). Examples A repair order you subscribe to is complete and pickup is scheduled, you were added to someone's network.

Broadcast

Broadcasts communicate the latest software releases, system maintenance, and other information about (Undefined variable: HubVariables.ProductName_RC-Client). Examples A new partner was added to ToolStore, the latest industry trends report is out, new release notes are available.

Use filters to view specific information on the information feed:

Updates

Click Updates to view only alerts.

Conversations

Click Conversations to view only conversations (public and private).

Everything

Click Everything to view both conversations and alerts.

Use settings to personalize your Hub profile. You can add a profile picture, add personal and professional information, and modify Hub's built-in privacy settings.
