Edit Attachments

Open the Edit Images and Documents dialog box from the Attachments tab:

1. Open the opportunity or repair order you want to work in, and then click the Attachments tab.

2. On the Attachments tab, double-click an attachment. The Edit Images and Documents dialog box appears, displaying a preview of the image.

   

   If the attachment isn't an image, the Preview area displays a button you can click to open the attachment.

   

3. To access another attachment, click its thumbnail at the top of the dialog box.

   

   Be sure to click and to scroll through all of the attachments.

4. To adjust an image preview, use the toolbar under the image.

   To do this to the preview image	Do this on the toolbar
   Rotate	Click or or .
   Fit to the Preview area	Click .
   Change size	Drag the slider (or click and ).

1. Open the opportunity or repair order you want to work in, and then click the Attachments tab.
2. On the Attachments tab, double-click an attachment.
3. In the Edit Images and Documents dialog box, click the arrows at the top of the dialog box to scroll to the appropriate attachment.
4. On the Caption and Category tab, add any combination of the following:

• To add a caption, type a caption in the Caption box.

• To add a description, type a description of the attachment in the Description box.

  Note: The Description box may include information about where the attachment was uploaded from. You can delete this information.

• To add a category, click to select a category in the Category list.

5. Scroll to any other attachments you'd like to add information to.
6. Click Save to save your work and close the dialog box.

1. Open the opportunity or repair order you want to work in, and then click the Attachments tab.
2. On the Attachments tab, double-click an attachment.
3. In the Edit Images and Documents dialog box, click the arrows at the top of the dialog box to scroll to the appropriate image.
4. Click the Fix Image tab.
5. Do any combination of the following to change the image's appearance:

• To adjust the image's brightness, contrast, or saturation, drag the corresponding slider.

  

• To make the image black and white, click Black & White.
• To reverse the image colors, click Invert Colors.
• To undo a change, click Revert until the unwanted change is undone.

4. Do one of the following to save your changes:

• To save the edited image as a new image, click Save As on the Fix Image tab, type the new file name in the Save Image View dialog box, and then click Save.

  Note: If the new image doesn't appear on the Attachments tab when you close the Edit Images and Documents dialog box, click Refresh .

• To replace the original image with the edited image, on the Caption and Category tab, click Save.

1. Open the opportunity or repair order you want to work in, and then click the Attachments tab.
2. On the Attachments tab, double-click the attachment.
3. In the Edit Images and Documents dialog box, click .
4. In the Delete Attachment dialog box, click Delete.
