Use Templates

Templates allow you to save commonly used items and add multiple items to an estimate at one time.

How to

  1. Click My Templates in the Parts or Split View tab in Mitchell Cloud Estimating to access the My Templates page.
  1. Click the Template list to view your template groups. Click the Template Group you will use.

  2. Select the template repair lines from the list and click Add lines. The list includes the long expansions that were imported from UltraMate or templates created in Mitchell Cloud Estimating.

    Note: Templates you import from UltraMate may display in a different order.

  3. The repair lines are added to the estimate.

  4. Click Reference Sheet to access reference sheets that the following types of items that can be added to an estimate:
    • Additional Costs & Materials
    • Additional Operations
    • Body Components
  5. On the reference sheet page, select each item to add to the estimate and click Add Line.

  1. From the Job Overview page, click Continue Estimate on the Estimate card.


  2. In the Estimate Editor page, click My Templates in the navigation menu to access the Long Expansions imported from UltraMate or created in Mitchell Cloud Estimating.
  3. Select the Template Group and list you want to use for this estimate.



  4. Click Reference Sheet to access the following categories of items that can be added to an estimate:



  • Additional Costs & Materials
  • Additional Operations
  • Body Components
  1. On the Parts page, select parts by either clicking on the area of the vehicle that is damaged (Front, Side, Top, etc.) or by using the Search parts field.



  2. In the search field above repair lines, enter a description, part name, part number, category, or bar code to quickly search for parts and add them to your estimate.
  3. To clear the search filter, click the X that appears in the search field. You will then return to the full list of estimate repair lines.

    Note: If the search does not find any repair lines, you will receive the No results were found notification.
