View or modify job information from the estimate editor

View, add new, and edit existing user names and contact information from the Estimate Editor in Mitchell Cloud Estimating.

1. At the top of the Estimate Editor, click the first link for the Primary Contact.

   

2. In the Owner–Primary Contact section, you can make changes to the name of the contact, the insured and the claimant, including contact methods and address.

3. If you are entering contact information for a company, select the Company check box. In the Company Name field, type the company name.

4. In the Party Type section, select the contact type: Owner, Insured, or Claimant.
5. In the Contact Methods section, type the contact Email address, Phone number and Extension (if applicable). If you need to add another phone number, click + Phone.

   Note: All valid phone numbers appear on the estimate printout in the standard (xxx) xxx-xxxx format.

6. In the Address section, select the country of the contact and complete the address fields: Address Line 1, Address Line 2, City, State, Zip.
7. When you are finished adding information, click Save .

   

You can view, modify, or remove vehicle information from the Estimate Editor.

1. At the top left of the Estimate Editor, click the second link for the vehicle information.



The Vehicle page appears with the pertinent details for the job's vehicle information (for example, VIN, descriptive info, Additional Vehicle ID, color, etc.).




2. Make changes to any vehicle information that needs to be updated.

You can view, modify, or remove insurance or payer information from the Estimate Editor. If you entered a claim number on the Insurance page in the job, a link to insurance information is available on the Estimate Editor page.

1. At the top left of the Estimate Editor, click the claim number link.

   

The Insurance page includes the insurance information for the job.

2. Update the insurance information for the job.

Note: You can change the Insurance Company for an estimate even after starting to write the estimate.

3. Click Save when you are finished making changes.

You can view the photos or attachments for a job while writing an estimate.

1. While writing an estimate, click the View Photos link at the top of the Parts or Split View page.

   

   A new window will open with the photos or attachments that you can view while you continue writing the estimate on the Parts page.
