Write a Supplement In Mitchell Cloud Estimating

Once an estimate has been committed, you can write a Supplement to add, edit or delete repair lines.

Note: Estimates created in UltraMate that contain ATG lines cannot be supplemented in Mitchell Cloud Estimating. You will receive the following error message: This estimate contains ATG lines and cannot be supplemented with Cloud Estimating. To resolve the error, add the supplements to the estimate in UltraMate. Click to view error message

How to

Follow the steps to write a supplement to a committed estimate.

  1. On the Job Overview page, click the View or Supplement link on the estimate card.

  2. On the Estimate Editor page add repair lines, add Mitchell Reference Lines, review and commit the supplement.

    Note: You will receive a Parts and Labor Data Update Available notification if there has been an update since the estimate was committed. "Accept Parts and Labor Updates"

  3. Make the changes or additions to the estimate in the supplement, click the Help sections below for additional instructions to write a supplement:
  1. When you successfully commit the supplement, you will be redirected to the Job Overview page.
  2. On the estimate card you will see the revised estimate total, including the supplement changes. The Supplement 1 text indicates that a supplement has been created.

  3. Click the estimate card to view the Estimate Manager page.

    The Estimate Manager page shows the original estimate and the supplement, including:

  • Previous Versions information and the original estimate amount
  • Supplement information and the revised estimate amount
  • Dollar amount change (increase or decrease) in supplement
  • View Changes link to access the supplement Delta Report (See the "View or Print Supplement Delta Report"section.)
  1. Click Done when you are finished viewing the information.
