Request Assignments

Some insurance company workflows require you to request assignments instead of having assignments sent to you. You can use the Request Assignment button when a customer arrives at your shop.

Note: Some insurance companies may validate if you have the corresponding expertise to complete the Assignment. If you attempt to request an assignment without the corresponding expertise, a warning message appears stating you do not have the required expertize. If you believe you do have the required expertize, contact the insurance company.

  1. On the My Jobs page, click Request Assignment.

  2. Select the insurance company in the Insurance Company list.

  3. Enter information in the required fields as needed:
    • Claim Number
    • License Plate
    • BC Registration Number

Note: Required fields vary by insurance company. When you select the insurance company, only the fields relevant to the insurance company's workflow appear. Be sure to select the correct insurance company to ensure the correct workflow is being followed.

  1. Click Request Assignment.

  2. If the I Accept the Terms and Conditions check box appears, click Terms and Conditions to read the terms and conditions. Then select the I accept the Terms and Conditions check box.

    Note: The I Accept the Terms and Conditions check box does not appear for all insurance company workflows.
