Distribute Attachments

Use the Attachments tab in an open repair order or opportunity to distribute attachments in various formats. You can email, export, and print attachments, and move them to another job.

How to

  1. Open the opportunity or repair order you want to work in, and then click the Attachments tab.
  2. On the Attachments tab, click to select an attachment. You can also select multiple attachments by holding down Ctrl while clicking each attachment (or by clicking Select All).
  3. Click Email.
  4. In the Send Images via E-Mail dialog box, click a sizing option, and then click Attach to E-Mail.

    Note: This dialog box doesn't appear if the Remember this setting, do not display this dialog again check box that's in this dialog box was ever selected.

  • If you click Yes, make all images smaller, additional size options appear.

    Click a size.

  • To skip the Send Images via E-Mail dialog box and always use the size you've just selected, select the Remember this setting, do not display this dialog again check box.
  1. Click Attach to E-Mail. A draft email appears with the selected attachments attached.
  • The subject line and the body of the email automatically include information about the job, which you can edit.
  1. Enter an email recipient, and then send it.
  1. Open the opportunity or repair order you want to work in, and then click the Attachments tab.
  2. On the Attachments tab, click to select an attachment. You can also select multiple attachments by holding down Ctrl while clicking each attachment (or by clicking Select All).
  3. In the Browse For Folder dialog box, browse through the file directories to the folder you want to export the attachments to, and then click to select it.
  4. Click OK. The attachments are now available in both RepairCenter and the folder you exported them to.
  1. Open the opportunity or repair order you want to work in, and then click the Attachments tab.
  2. On the Attachments tab,click to select an attachment. You can also select multiple attachments by holding down Ctrl while clicking each attachment (or by clicking Select All).
  3. Click Print.
  4. In the Print Attachments dialog box, on the Layout tab, click to select a page layout (you can print up to four images on a page).

    To see what a selected page layout looks like with the selected attachments, click Preview.

  5. Click Print.

  2. On the Attachments tab, click to select an attachment. You can also select multiple attachments by holding down Ctrl while clicking each attachment (or by clicking Select All).
  3. Click Move.
  4. In the Move Attachments dialog box, do one of the following:
  • To move the attachments to an opportunity, click the Opportunities tab.
  • To move the attachments to a repair order, click the Repair Orders tab.
  1. Under Job Attachment Sets, click to select the job you want to move the attachments to.
  2. Click Move.
