Customer Pay Estimates

Use a customer pay estimate to charge a customer for repairs that improve the damage beyond pre-accident condition.

Note: These repairs must have their own repair order.

Create an estimate that includes only the repair lines the customer is paying for, and then convert it into a repair order.

How to

  1. Create an estimate with Customer Pay as the insurance company.
  2. When the completed estimate appears on the List View tab, click to select it.
  3. Click Convert RO.
  4. In the "You are about to convert the following Opportunity to a Repair Order" message, click OK.
  5. In any additional messages, provide input as needed until the conversion is complete.
  6. To confirm a successful conversion, check that the converted job is listed on the Whiteboard tab.
