OEM Advisor
Available in RepairCenter Tech Advisor.
The OEM Advisor fully integrates TechAdvisor's OEM database within the estimating and repair workflow. You can go directly to the appropriate article contained in the TechAdvisor from the Repair Lines tab in RepairCenter. You can then build Repair Reports for the technician or for your records on the repair.
Features

Select one or more repair lines from the big 3 estimating systems and link directly to targeted OEM repair procedures. In addition to linking to OEM repair procedures for the selected part, RepairCenter’s OEM Advisor includes related OEM procedures. For example, if a front fender is selected, the exterior lights’ article will also be included for review.

The OEM Advisor tool includes a preview pane designed for your shop to easily review OEM articles. As with all TechAdvisor articles, the standard format allows your shop to find information quickly regardless of manufacturer.

TechAdvisor’s database covers an overwhelming amount of information. Included in the OEM Advisor tool are Content Filters designed to filter down to the type of information needed for that repair.

With the OEM Advisor tool a shop can build and print repair reports with the OEM procedures customized for that repair. With the user-friendly interface, a shop can select the specific OEM procedures needed and print out a custom consolidated report that includes the repair procedures, supporting graphics, details of the RO, and sign-off boxes to indicate when and by whom the repair was performed.
