General Reports

Use the General Reports tab to generate basic reports such as Job Listings by various criteria, Open Jobs, and Supplement Reports. General Reports are primarily accessed from the Reports menu, on the General tab. The available reports depend upon what RepairCenter modules you have licensed. See Report Descriptions.

A sample of the fields on the report can be found below the report description. Production Status notes print information found in the Notes field.

How to

  1. Do one of the following:
  • Click the Reports menu icon and select the General tab.
  • Click the Reports menu down arrow and click General.
  1. In the list of reports, highlight the report to be printed. The available filters and criteria for that specific report appear below the report list, with the exception of the date range filter, which appears above the list.
  2. Select or define the desired criteria.
  3. To view the report on the screen, click Print Preview.
  4. To send the report to your printer, click Print.

Use the View Job Listing feature as a shortcut to print reports directly from the Reports tab without returning to the Whiteboard.

  1. Click the down arrow on the Reports button, and then click the report group that has a Current RO category.



  2. Click View Job Listing. A list of Repair Orders appear at the bottom of the screen.




  3. Click the Repair Order from list.




  4. Click Print or Print Preview to generate the report.

Reference

A symbol before a report in this list denotes a recommended report, how it should be filtered, and the purpose of the report.

Description
Job Listing by Date Range (#2)

Filter by Closed and Show Tax. This report provides the gross sales for the selected date range. A general job listing report, sorted by date type or job category on all jobs. It is available with the Production Management module, which is included in the RepairCenter Essentials packages.
Job Listing by Insurance Company/Claim Number (#145)

A general job listing report, sorted by the insurance company or claim number on all jobs. It is available with all RepairCenter purchased modules.
Job Listing by Location (#18)

A general job listing report, sorted by location across all jobs, and then filtered by date range and date type. It is available with the Production Management module, which is included in the RepairCenter Essentials, Professional and Premiere packages.
Job Listing by Location with Hours (#150)

A general job listing report, sorted by location, showing tech hours across all jobs, and then filtered by date range and date type. It is available with the Production Management module, which is included in the RepairCenter Essentials, Professional and Premiere packages.
Job Listing by Rental Car (#146)

A general job listing report across all jobs, sorted by rental car companies, and then filtered by dates, delivery, arrival, and completion status. It is available with all RepairCenter purchased modules.
Job Listing Grouped by Techs (#147)

Filter by Show Notes, Separate Pages and Include Location. This report should be printed and reviewed with the technician each day. A general job listing report across all jobs, grouped by technicians, and then filtered by dates, delivery, arrival, and completion status. It is available with the Labor Management module, which is included in the RepairCenter Essentials, Professional and Premiere packages.
Job Listing with Techs (#72)

A general job listing report across all jobs, sorted by date sections, which displays the technician assigned to the jobs and listed under their respective columns on the report. It is available with the Production Management module, which is included in the RepairCenter Essentials, Professional and Premiere packages.
Job Listing with Techs, Vehicle License # and Color (#133)

A general job listing report across all jobs, sorted by department sections, and then displaying columns for the departments and the technician name. It is available with the Production Management module, which is included in the RepairCenter Essentials, Professional and Premiere packages.
Open Jobs by Date (#1)

A general use report to indicate all Open Jobs, sorted by the selected date type. It is available with the Production Management module, which is included in the RepairCenter Essentials, Professional and Premiere packages.
Open Repair Orders – Classic (#176)

Filter by Target Date. This report shows all open repair orders as Scheduled, Arrived, In Shop, and Completed - Not Delivered. If the report is updated daily, the arrival, repair start, and completed dates can be adjusted to move the vehicle to the proper section. A general use report, listing sales for Open Repair Orders on all jobs by schedule dates. It is available with all RepairCenter purchased modules.
Supplement Report (across all jobs) (#98)

This report is a general use report to indicate the current supplement information on jobs. It is available with all RepairCenter purchased modules.
