Managing Jobs

Use the Manage Jobs page to manage vehicle dimension jobs. You can choose the jobs you want to display on the Activity lists, open or close a vehicle dimensions job, change the status of a vehicle dimensions job, or delete a vehicle dimensions job.

How to

  1. On any page in TechAdvisor, click My Account.
  2. Click the Manage Jobs tab.

Filter the jobs list to open, closed, or all jobs to help locate jobs in the list.

  1. On the Manage Jobs page, select one of the following in the list:
  • All Jobs
  • Active => Open
  • Closed => Closed

Go directly to a vehicle dimensions job from the Manage Jobs page.

  1. On the Manage Jobs page, click the job number in the Job # column next to the job you want to open.

Enter the open date and closed date for a vehicle dimensions job.

Note: Open and closed dates do not change the status of the job on the Manage Jobs page.

  1. On the Manage Jobs page, click the job number in the Job # column.
  1. On theVehicle Dimensions, click Edit Job.
  2. Select a Job Close Date.
  3. Click Save. 

Change the status of a vehicle dimensions job as it appears on the Mange Jobs page.

  1. On the Manage Jobs page, click Open or Closed in the Jobs Status column next to the job you want to change.

  1. On the Manage Jobs page, click X under the Delete column next to the job you want to delete.

Field Description
Jobs List Use the list to filter the jobs to All Jobs, Open Jobs, or Closed Jobs.
Open date Date the job was opened as entered on the Vehicle Dimensions page.
Job # Job number assigned to the job on the Vehicle Dimensions page.
Customer Name Name of the vehicle owner.
Vehicle Vehicle Description.
Close Date The close date for the job as entered on the Vehicle Dimensions page.
Status The job status. Click to change the job status as Open or Closed.
Delete Click the X to delete a job.
